Now let’s introduce common SMT processing equipment.

2. SMT placement machine

The solder paste printer is located at the forefront of the SMT production line and is used to print solder paste or patch glue. It correctly leaks solder paste or patch glue to the pads or corresponding positions of the printed board, preparing for component placement. Printing machines for SMT are roughly divided into three types: manual printing machines, semi-automatic printing machines and fully automatic printing machines.

3. SMT reflow welder

Reflow soldering machine, also called reflow soldering machine, is located behind the placement machine in the SMT production line. Its role is to provide a heating environment to melt the solder paste pre-assigned to the pads of the printed board, so that the surface-mounted components and the PCB pads are reliably combined through the solder paste alloy. The reflow soldering operation method is simple, high efficiency, good quality, good consistency, and saves solder. It is an electronic product assembly technology suitable for automated production, and has now become the mainstream of SMT circuit board assembly technology.

4. SMT wave soldering machine

The wave soldering machine is a welding device that utilizes the cyclical flow of molten solder to contact the PCB welding surface with components, and realizes group welding when relative movement is performed at a certain speed. It is mainly used in the assembly process of traditional through-hole printed circuit board assembly and the process of assembling surface assembly and through-hole inserted components. Compared with manual welding, wave soldering has the advantages of high production efficiency, good welding quality and high reliability.production line, the placement of the placement machine is determined according to the type and output of the product produced.
