CO2 laser cutting machine (2000-2004)

In addition, because the output of CO2 laser is continuous laser, it has the smoothest and best cutting section effect among the three laser cutting machines.

Main market positioning: 6-25 mm thick plate cutting and processing is mainly aimed at large and medium-sized enterprises and some laser cutting and processing enterprises with pure external processing. However, due to the insurmountable factors such as large laser maintenance consumption and large host power consumption, the market is in a state of obvious shrinkage due to the great impact of fiber laser cutting machines in recent years.

YAG solid laser cutting machine (2009-2012)

Once popular in the metal processing market, it is mainly used for drilling, spot welding and sheet metal cutting.

YAG solid-state laser cutting machine has the characteristics of low price and good stability, but the energy efficiency is generally less than 3%. Disc laser cutting machine (2015-2016)

Disc laser cutting entered into the nonferrous processing market.

Main advantages: disc laser is a combination of solid-state laser and semiconductor laser. Disc design ensures superior beam quality. Using semiconductor laser as pump source unit ensures high photoelectric efficiency. The power of disc laser is up to 16000 watts. The great feature is that it can cut thick high reflection materials such as brass and aluminum plate.

Main market positioning: cutting below 25 mm, especially the high-quality cutting of medium and heavy plates, is mainly aimed at enterprises with more foreign processing or non-ferrous metal processing. The disadvantage is that the later maintenance cost is high, the service and technology have not been opened and popularized, and the cost is higher than that of optical fiber. With the emergence of fiber 4000 W and above lasers, fiber laser cutting machines will eventually replace most of the market.

Optical fiber metal laser cutting machine (2012 – present)

High power impacts the low-power processing market and eventually popularizes major factories.

Main advantages: high photoelectric conversion rate, less power consumption, and can cut 20-30 mm.
The cutting speed of stainless steel plate and carbon steel plate is the fastest among the three machines.
Laser cutting machine, with fine slit and good spot quality, can be used for fine, stable and efficient cutting.

Main market positioning since 2012: manufacturing industry, sheet metal industry, agricultural machinery, municipal gardens, etc. It is mainly aimed at manufacturers with high requirements for processing accuracy and efficiency. After 2015, with the emergence of 4000 W and above lasers, fiber laser cutting machines have replaced most markets such as CO2 high-power laser cutting machines, YAG laser cutting machines and disc laser cutting machines. Fiber laser cutting machine is developing towards more refinement, industrialization, deep customization and supporting.
